My main goal in therapy is to provide an environment for deeply courageous healing work for my client - an environment that breeds trust and safety.
I specialize in areas related to anxiety (PTSD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder), stress management, anger management, self-concept work, grief and complex trauma work as it relates to the loss of significant loved ones, life transition and motor vehicle accidents. I also work with teens, young adults, working professionals, seniors and parents.
What mostly sets me apart in therapeutic work is the attention I place on faith-based work and combining it with body-based strategies.

I am a Registered Social Worker who has been practicing for over 20 years. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and Bachelor of Science from McMaster University. In my career I have had the opportunity to work in the medical and education sectors to support the mental health needs of youth and adults. I have extensive experience with mood disorders, crisis intervention and life transitions. I’ve also had additional training in CBT, DBT, ACT, Neurofeedback and I practice from a trauma informed base.
